Our 18k Gold Vermeil pieces are composed of a sterling silver base, a protective palladium coating in the middle, and an 18k gold exterior. The palladium barrier is crucial -- its atomic structure creates an impenetrable shield that prevents chemical reactions between the silver and gold layers. Combined with our 2.5-micron vermeil plating (25x thicker than typical flash plating), this palladium barrier provides exceptional tarnish resistance. Unlike flash-plated jewelry that can show wear within weeks or months, our vermeil pieces maintain their luxurious gold finish for years.

Pure 925 Sterling Silver naturally develops a patina over time, but regular wiping with a polishing cloth quickly restores its brilliant shine. Store in an anti-tarnish bag to maintain its luster.

For 14k gold jewelry, you can use a specialized jewelry cloth with micro-abrasives for extra shine. However, plated pieces (like our white gold and vermeil) should only be cleaned with a soft cloth to protect their finish.

Storage & Protection
Store your pieces separately in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, and use anti-tarnish bags for silver and vermeil pieces. We highly recommend using anti-tarnish paper strips, which work by absorbing harmful gases and moisture that cause tarnishing, creating a protective environment for your jewelry.

Everyday Care
Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you remove. To protect your pieces, remove them during exercise, swimming, showering, and when applying personal care products or cleaning around the house.
